“Really like these. They’re light, comfy, and look great on.”
— Amelia R.

My name is Florence, and for me, crafting jewelry has always been more than just a trade — it’s been my life’s purpose.
I’ve been handmaking jewelry pieces since I was 11 years old. But now, the time has come to set down my tools and step into retirement.
My heart has long yearned for more time with my grandchildren, and that season of life has finally arrived.
Let me take you on a personal journey — from my earliest days to today, where I still find peace in the quiet rhythm of my workshop.
I was born in 1969 in US — a place known for its charm, history, and artisan heritage. My childhood was filled with the shine of polished metal, the soft clink of display trays, and the gentle ring of the door chime as customers walked in.
My parents ran a small but beloved jewelry shop downtown. It was there I learned that true craftsmanship goes far beyond technique — it’s about creating something meaningful and lasting.
Although my parents had dreams of other careers for me, I was always drawn to the back room — to the workbench.
While other kids were outside riding bikes, I was shaping metal, polishing stones, and watching raw materials turn into something beautiful. Those quiet hours taught me things no classroom ever could — and shaped the person I would become.
At 11, I stood at the workbench for the first time, entirely on my own. My father stood beside me as I crafted a delicate silver pendant — clean design, soft shine, and just enough detail to make it special. My mother proudly placed it in the shop’s front window.
That very same day, someone bought it. That moment changed my life. My hands weren’t just making jewelry — they were telling stories.

When my parents decided to retire, I was faced with a choice: move on or carry on. I chose to carry forward their legacy — and to build upon it. I gave the store a fresh face, brought in a new team, and introduced designs that blended timeless craftsmanship with modern elegance.
In the summer of 1993, tragedy struck. A short circuit led to a fire that destroyed everything — the tools, the inventory, the workshop, the memories.

But I didn’t give up. I started again — in an old barn on the outskirts of town. It was rough, but it was mine.
With secondhand tools and a notebook full of orders, I rebuilt piece by piece. Customers returned — not just for the jewelry, but to support the story, the effort, the heart behind it all.
Three years later, I reopened in the very neighborhood where it all began.
Only this time, every detail bore my personal mark. That’s when I met John. He admired the craftsmanship of a hand-forged bracelet, and we ended up talking for hours. A year later, we got married. And soon after, came Emily.

Sixteen years later, Emily joined me in the workshop. She had a vision — one that helped us step into the online world. We started on Amazon, then launched our own storefront.
I remained at the bench, John handled operations, and Emily shaped the brand’s future.

In 2021, we lost John suddenly. The grief was heavy, but I kept going — not out of obligation, but because creating jewelry is simply who I am.
A quote John loved now hangs above my bench:
“What comes from the heart, stays.”
Emily and I both agree — the time is right. Once my final jewelry pieces are sold, I’ll be stepping away from the store.
The next chapter of my life will be all about family — about showing up fully, sharing stories, and creating new memories with my grandchildren

This will be my last sale. I will be selling my last stock with heavy discounts. This way I can be sure it will end up in a good place.
